How Kubera's integration with AI Assitants work
- Authorization: Your portfolio data is only shared if you enable Kubera in your favorite AI Assistants (ChatGPT, Claude etc.) and log in to explicitly authorize data sharing. If you choose not to enable it, no portfolio information is transmitted.
- Data Export: Kubera securely exports your portfolio data into the AI chatbot environment.
- Your data is secure during transfer. It moves over encrypted connections directly from Kubera to the AI Assistants.
- Kubera never sees your chats. We only send your portfolio data; we do not log or view any of your chats with the AI Assistants.
- AI controls your data after it's imported. This includes how long it's stored, and whether it’s used to train models—based on your AI Assistant's plan and settings. Learn more
- Accuracy Disclaimer: AI can make mistakes. Always double-check its answers before making decisions. Data is static per session. If your Kubera data changes, you’ll need to refresh the session to see updates.
FAQ
ChatGPT is showing data that doesn’t match my Kubera portfolio. What’s going on?
If the data looks off, ChatGPT likely didn’t connect to Kubera. In this case, it may have generated (“hallucinated”) a response that isn’t based on your real portfolio.
To confirm a successful connection, look for the line Talked to api.kubera.com above the response. If that line is missing, your data wasn’t pulled from Kubera.
To fix this, open a new chat and reconnect your Kubera account.
In our articles and app UI, AI assistants are also referred to as AI chatbots. The terms are used interchangeably.
