How do I connect Interactive Brokers to Kubera?

To connect your Interactive Brokers (IBKR) account, you'll first need to activate third-party services in your Interactive Brokers app. 

To do this, follow the below steps:

  • In Interactive Brokers, click on Settings (old version) or Performance & Reports (new version) > Third-Party Reports > Third Party Services and click the Configure (gear) icon.
  • Enable Yodlee under the third-party services table and hit Save.

  • Once enabled, you will get a Query ID & Token. Use these credentials to log in to IBKR in Kubera.

Have multi currency cash balance?

Note: The IBKR integration (via Yodlee) has a known limitation: it only provides cash balances in the account's base currency to third-party applications. Despite multiple reports to Yodlee, no resolution has been offered. You have to track the other cash balances as manual asset entries.

Have margin balance?

The connection also does not provide the margin balance. You have to track it manually in debts.


Didn't connect?

It's a temporary glitch.

IBKR is a moody connection. Please give it a few hours and try again leaving a few hours between each attempt. It should work.
