For bank and brokerage connection issues, bugs, feedback or general inquiries, please reach out to us at hello@kubera.com with the following details:
- The Email ID associated with your Kubera account
- For connection issues: Provide as much details as possible - the institution name, account name or number as it appears in Kubera. Tell us what exactly is wrong.
- If the account balance is wrong, please tell us what's the correct balance and what you are seeing in Kubera.
- For incorrect brokerage balances: Review the holdings and tell us if you can spot the discrepancies. More details
- If a holding in your connected brokerage account is mapped to the wrong ticker symbol, please provide the account name, the holding name, the incorrect ticker symbol shown in Kubera, and the correct ticker symbol along with its exchange.
- For bug reports: Clearly explain what you were trying to do, what steps you took, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. A concise, structured report is far more helpful than a rant.
- Screenshots: If possible, attach screenshots of the issue to help us diagnose the problem faster. Please mask any sensitive information.
In general if you see an issue with a connection (wrong values, missing accounts or bring a new account from an existing connection), you should report it to us and wait for our reply before trying to fix it yourself. We'll check what's going on and tell you what to do. Please don't try disconnecting and adding again, unless we ask you to do. Sometimes you will not be able to add the account back again. This can only make things more complicated.
Connections are not 100% foolproof. Most of the times, the error can be fixed only by reporting it to the aggregators. For which we need the original connection in place to troubleshoot. We can also look at the overall quality of the connection and tell you if it's worth dealing with the pain. If it's not worth it, it's better to drop the connection and track it manually instead of constantly wrestling with connection issues. We'll be able to better guide you here.
