What is Cash on Hand?

Cash on Hand is the total cash balance you have in your hand, banks, brokerages and any other accounts.

Cash on Hand is a part of your Investable Assets, which is a key indicator of your liquidity position.

Knowing your Cash on Hand allows you to make informed decisions about making new investments. It also tells you if you have enough funds for upcoming Capital Calls and for regular and unforeseen expenses.

Kubera automatically calculates the cash balance from your bank account and brokerage connections. For assets that you enter manually have the option to mark as ‘Investable Asset - Cash’ in the 'Asset Details' screen > ‘Assorted’ tab.
