While it's absolutely safe connecting your accounts, you don't have to necessarily connect your accounts to use Kubera.

Instead of connecting your brokerages, you can search and add your stock tickers.

Instead of connecting your Crypto Wallets, you can track your crypto holdings.

You can link your homes (US Only), cars and domain names to a price feed and get their latest values automatically without connecting any account.

For all other assets you can insert rows and manually enter the asset and values, just like in an Excel sheet. You can periodically update the values. You can also set Kubera to remind you if your manual entries have not been updated for some time. More details.
